It has been snowing in Georgia's seaside region of Adjara since yesterday morning. The snow cover in the highly-elevated districts of Khulo and Shuakhevi reaches 25 centimeters, while 70-80 centimeters in villages.
Electricity supply was limited to these villages for a while, though electric power provision was restored after carrying out of restoration works. Traffic movement is not limited for the time being.

According to the National Center of Prognosis and Monitoring of Georgia's Environment Protection, cold air masses will be spread across Georgia.
The cold masses extended from north-west of the Black Sea caused harsh drop in air temperature and intensive snow in several regions.
The Georgian weather forecasters prognosticate that the air temperature will begin increasing as of January 5.
The air temperature will increase up to 15 degrees by Celsius scale in west Georgia, while up to 10 - in east Georgia.
