Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said the installation of US anti-missile defense system on Georgian soil is a problem for Russia calling it a dangerous plan at the meeting with Russian media editors on Wednesday.
Putin also said he understood the motives of the criticism of writer and one of the founders of Voters` League Movement in Russia towards the Russia-Georgia August war 2008 was, because he was Georgian by origin.
Vladimir Putin also commented on the activities of opposition in Georgia. He said the visits of some Georgian opposition leaders to the Russian capital meant that one part of Georgian society was prepared to settle problems in Georgia-Russia relations.
