Israel has carried out an air strike on northern Gaza, Israeli defence sources say.
Initial reports speak of two deaths but this is unconfirmed.
Palestinian sources said the raid happened in an area east of the northern town of Beit Hanoun.
An Israeli military spokeswoman confirmed the strike but refused to say what the target was, reported AFP news agency.
