Four Georgian sailors, who survived in the explosion on an oil tanker in the Adriatic Sea, will depart from Turkey and arrive in Batumi today. The Turkish owner company of the tanker has prepared all necessary documents to the Georgian nationals to leave the country.
In addition, the sailors underwent additional medical examination in Turkey; they were also interrogated by Albanian police.
Meanwhile, the rescuers are still searching for the bodies of the Azeri captain and one Georgian boatswain, Malkhaz Lazishvili, who disappeared after the explosion on the tanker. Turkish company will cover the expenses of the transfer of the bodies home after they are found.
