Georgia will see the launch of a brand - new, privately owned and controlled airline that will offer full-service flights to a number of destinations in Europe, the Middle East and South Asia as well as the CIS
A new, full-service, privately owned and controlled carrier will connect the capital Tbilisi to a number of destinations in Europe, the Middle East, Central and South Asia as well as the CIS in 2012. Offering convenient schedules from the Georgian capital, the airline will deploy its modern, dual-type fleet to destinations such as London, Rome, Dusseldorf, Dubai and Delhi amongst many others. Preparations are well under way and the launch date will be confirmed and publicly announced shortly.
The airline's multinational and experienced management will focus on providing quality services and market-demanded frequencies across the network, propelling FlyGeorgia into a formidable niche carrier segment that will link the continents via Tbilisi and provide convenient onward connections across its network. One of the airline's primary goals is to contribute to the admirable growth in both tourism and business arrivals to the country and therefore play an active role in Georgia's future tourism and economic development.
Dubai-based tasc aviation has been contracted to assist in the airline's launch, with efforts progressing rapidly in both Tbilisi and Dubai.
