Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) will be opened today. The Georgian side is preparing for the session.
Grigol Vashadze, Georgia's Foreign Minister is scheduled to deliver a speech as part of the session on January 25.
Vashadze will talk about the current situation across Georgia's invaded territories of Abkhazia and South Ossetia and internationally taken commitments before the Council of Europe (CoE).
Discussions will be held over violations detected during December 4 DUMA elections in Russia.
Within the frame of the visit Georgia's Foreign Minister will meet the Secretary General of the Council of Europe and newly elected President CoE.
