The UK visa procedures will be simplified. Embassy of UK in Georgia published the information about changes on its web-page.
Since 1 April 2008 all applications for UK visas have been made online. From 30 January 2012 all payments for UK visas will also be made online.
This change will affect all applicants in Georgia from 30 January, after which payment will only be possible online.
Online payments can be made using Visa or Mastercard branded payment cards, both debit and credit.
The visa application fee will be fixed in USD and the currency used for online payments will be USD only.
Applicants will be requested to make an online payment for their visa application at the time of lodging their visa application form online.
