The leaders of the Christian Democratic Movement hold working meetings within the official visit to the United States. On Wednesday Giorgi Targamadze met with the Deputy Secretary of Agriculture and the chairpersons of the departments. The goal of the meeting was to share the experience in the agriculture development programs in order to introduce it afterwards in Georgia. The leader of the movement Giorgi Targamadze has reported the situation in Georgian agriculture sector to the US authorities and introduced the vision of the CDM in this regard.
`The revival of Georgian agriculture is our priority. U.S. government pays particular interest towards the people who reside in countryside not only by developing the agriculture sectors, but also by creating prosperous environment to these people. Fro this point of view, we got a very serious experience, information and knowledge during the meetings at the Department of Agriculture and we`re going to use this experience during working on our program,` Giorgi Targamadze said.
Within the visit, the leaders of the Christian Democratic movement held meetings in U.S. Senate and Congress.
