US State Department supports Georgia's territorial integrity, and political and economic development, Victoria Nuland, Spokesperson for the United States Department of State made this statement on February 2.
Nuland stressed on the importance of January 30 meeting between Georgian and US Presidents Mikheil Saakashvili and Barack Obama during a daily briefing and claimed that the two countries would continue bilateral cooperation in security and defense spheres.
"This cooperation centers on successful programs to held Georgia in modernization and reformation of the Georgian army," Nuland stated.
