Black Sea froze off the coast of Odessa. Piers are covered with ice, ice hummocks extend for hundreds of meters.
This phenomenon is extremely rare: for the last time the sea near the coast of Odessa froze completely in 1977. Ukrainian sea ports were closed till February 15.
There is the same situation in Romania and Bulgaria. The depth of the frozen water near the coast is about 40 centimeters in the Romanian port of Constanta.
