Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili plans to continue active communication and meetings with people and February will be particularly active in this regard, President's spokesperson Manana Manjgaladze said during a briefing today.
Manjgaladze stated that construction of 15 new hydro-electric power stations would begin in the nearest days. "It's a continuation of the policy of Georgia's Government since 2003-2004. It is the creation of stronger guarantees for Georgia's energy independence", Manjgaladze said.
The spokesperson said that in 13,000 people were employed in the project. "Our task is to prevent the country from falling back into the past, to the problems that touched all of us, our families, problems that troubles us 7-8 years ago and remained unsettled for years. They were, the absence of electricity and gas, cold and darkness", Manjgaladze said.
President's Spokesperson claimed presentation of medical institutions, new clinics and new projects would resume in February and that new hospitals were scheduled to be opened in Mtskheta-Mtianeti, Tsageri and Tetritskaro.
