It has been heavily snowing in Georgia's capital Tbilisi since morning. The snow cover reaches 10 centimeters. The Municipality Cleaning Service is working in emergency regime in cleaning of the central roads.
Heavy snowfall created problems for locals of Kvareli district of Kakheti region. The roof of a house belonging to Dolmazashvilis family collapsed last night and the socially vulnerable family was left without a shelter.
A 100-year-old woman was at home when the incident occurred. Fortunately, she was not injured. The Municipality Gamgeoba (local administration) pledged to help the family.
It is heavily snowing in Gori town of Shida Kartli region. Special vehicles are mobilized in cleaning of roads. The traffic movement is not suspended.
