Classes have been suspended in all public schools of Georgia because of heavy snow that continues hitting the country.
According to Dimitri Shashkin, Georgia's Minister of Education and Science, the schools will be closed till 13 February.
Shashkin has already signed the relevant decree. The Minister said that attendance dropped in 70 % of schools of Georgia today because of inclement weather conditions.
Study process has also been canceled at kindergartens in Tbilisi. It will begin starting next week but pupils will have to go to schools on Saturdays as well to compensate missed classes.
