Former Georgian Ombudsman Sosar Subary declined from the political party of Irakli Alasania. He believes that for him it is not acceptable the election of common candidate from opposition to the post of the City Mayor, GHN reports.
In connection with the fact that Sosar Subari is presently abroad, his view points were disseminated through Sopho Khorguani, representative of Republican Party.
"I am sharing the position of Republicans and New Rights concerning inadmissibility of conduction of Primary elections for common opposition candidate from opposition for the post of City Mayor, "- Subari said. The former Ombudsman considers that the only model for the elections of common candidate is a sociological research.
"The research of the public opinion first of all reflects the mood of the population, and from the other side it helps to avoid the authorities possible influence to the process of poll, " - Subari said.
At the same time he believes that this method has an advantage in a sense of lower spending.
We remind you that for the last two days in the political life of Georgia unexpected changes happen. The political party of Irakl Alasania detached from the political union "Alliance for Georgia" It will join  parties which are for the election of common oppositional candidate for the post City Mayor through the Primary.
