The Moscow police detained about 20 people in the city center of Moscow on Tuesday evening, February 14, for an attempt to hold an illegal action near the Central Elections Commission building, the city police department told Itar-Tass.
"The police detained about 20 people for trying to organize an illegal action near the Central Elections Commission building on Bolshoy Cherkassky Side-Street.
The detainees were taken to a police station and administrative charges were brought," the department said. It noted that there were no serious incidents near the Commission building.
