The exact date when, Georgian sailors who happened to be present across the territory of Georgia's invaded territory of Abkhazia, will return to their still remains unknown.
Four Georgian crew members of the ship sailing under Panama flag - Giorgi Sapanadze, Manuchar Bolkvadze, Aziz Vashanidze and Sulkhan Tsetskhladze - have remained in Sokhumi port for already one year. They are kept in unbearable conditions. The sailors have no water and food, no documents or salary.
Family members of the sailors claim that based on 6-month agreement signed between the sailors and Statlet Shipping Company, the ship had to dock in Bulgaria. The ship through a swindling scheme entered the Abkhazian territory.
The families blame the employer Laura Chaduneli, who promised that the ship would return from Sokhumi. Chaduneli says that the Georgian consulate is involved into the matter and that the sailors will be back within 5-day term with their deserved monetary compensation.
