Government of Georgia begins to issue and distribute electricity vouchers for over 1,200,000 subscribers of Georgia today. 25 million GEL has been allocated for the new social program from the reserve funds of the state budget.
The new program was initiated by the presidents due to the cold winter and hard climate environment that brought many problems to Georgian citizens, consumption of electricity increased as well as the expenditures.
Ministry of Health Care has opened a hotline, which will provide detailed information to subscribers of the power distribution company.
