The Georgian parliamentary delegation will take part in the winter session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). The sessions will open today and last during two days in OSCE headquarters in Vienna, Austria.
The Georgian side will focus on the current situation across Georgia's two invaded territories of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, condition of cultural heritage monuments, prevention of rights of education and non-fulfillment of obligations by Russia.
The session will discuss human rights, media freedom and reforms in penitentiary systems in OSCE member states.
A report of the OSCE election monitoring mission about the December 4 parliamentary elections in Russia will be also presented during the sitting.
