Opposition leader of the occupied South Ossetia Region of Georgia, Ala Jioeva, who won the so-called presidential elections in December, has changed her mind about seeking political asylum abroad. Ala Jioeva, who remains at Tshkhinvali hospital since February 9, after being beaten up in her office by special units, told local media that she will fight for the defense of the rights of her voters to the end.
