Christian Democratic Movement of Georgia asserts the prices on bread in Georgia are too high. Opposition party says this is caused by the artificially created uncompetitive business environment in this sphere, because this business is run by several monopolist companies.
Christian Democrats call on the government to regulate prices on bread and liberate it and provide supplies of raw materials to bread factories in affordable prices.
`In the world market prices on bread have been reduced with 50%, while in Georgia they remain t he same, therefore, our demand is to provide liberalization of this business in the country` Jaba Samushia of the party has said.
