An influential American non-governmental organization Freedom House has already assessed upcoming election of the president of Russia as unfair and illegal.
`Putin may declare himself winner in the March 4 presidential election, but he is already a loser,` president of the organization has said.
Kramer tried to reinforce his approach to the issue by quoting numerous violations revealed in Russia in pre-election period. Kramer slammed the political developments in Russia at the special meeting held in the George Washington University on Monday.
He said the main violations referred to human rights, corruption, pressure on the judiciary and democratic institutions.
