Four candidates will run for the president in the so-called election in Georgia`s breakaway South Ossetia Region. The so-called ambassador of the puppet regime to Russia, Dmitri Medoev is among them.
Twenty-two persons submitted applications to the so-called `central election commission` of the occupied region, however, the CEC registered only four of them.
The repeat election is scheduled for March 25. The previous elections were held on November 13, but the supreme court of the puppet regime annulled its results.
Georgian authorities downplay the elections, saying it is just yet another masquerade conducted by the Kremlin in the occupied region.
