The international community does not recognize the so-called parliamentary elections held on March 10 in Georgia's one of two occupied regions of Abkhazia.
"Moambe" news program of First Channel received a written answer in that regard from the press service of North-Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
"The NATO supports Georgia's territorial integrity and state sovereignty within its internationally recognized borders," reads the response.
The European Union also tags the so-called parliamentary elections in Abkhazia as illegitimate.
The EU representation in Georgia claims that the EU does not recognize the constitutional frames where the elections were held and pledges full support to Georgia's territorial integrity.
