The Georgian parliament today will vote for the proposed amendments to the Anti-Drugs Law through the first hearing. The draft-bill was already discussed in Parliamentary Law and Healthcare Committees.
The liberalized law envisages use of money from penalties paid by drug-addicts for their medication and rehabilitation. Several centers will be opened where drug-addicts will be treated.
