A human scalp dated to 5-6th centuries has been discovered in Georgia's Kvemo Kartli region.
Local fishermen came across the unique item at Algeti water reservoir accidentally. Archaeologists presume that the discovery will lead them to an unknown historic settlement in this area.
Specialists will begin studying the territory in details in the nearest future. The scalp is taken to an anthropology laboratory.
