The Georgian Social Workers' Association marks professional day on March 20. A meeting was held on this occasion at Youth Palace in Tbilisi this afternoon.
Holly Bass, wife of US Ambassador to Georgia gave certificates to volunteer social workers.
Members of the Association attended the event. About 500 social workers are currently employed in governmental and non-governmental sectors.
