Member of the Tbilisi City Hall, one of the leaders of the Republican Party of Georgia, Tinatin Khidasheli has briefed today to comment on the statement made by one of the American Senators regarding Georgia and the upcoming parliamentary elections.
The opposition leader said American lawmaker showed great interest to the electoral problems in Georgia prior to the parliamentary elections.
Khidasheli believes this interest shows that the next parliamentary elections will be a good test for the level of democracy in the country.
Opposition party thinks that the further support of the United States to Georgia will be depended on how the elections are conducted in 2012.
