Tbilisi is hosting the first EU-Eastern Partnership forum - the event, which has been organized by the staff of the State Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and the Poland`s Eastern Research Institute, is underway at the Hotel Radisson since the morning today.
Vice Prime Minister and State Minister Giorgi Baramidze delivered an opening speech at the forum and spoke about the prospects of enhancing EU-Georgia cooperation.
The forum is attended by the governmental and parliamentary delegations of the EU member states and the Eastern Partnership program member states (Georgia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Moldova, Armenia and Ukraine). International media is covering the event. Representatives of business sector and independent experts are also present at the forum.
