Yet another monuments of cultural heritage of Georgia situated in the occupied Abkhazia are facing danger.
Aleksandre Ankvab, the separatist leader of Georgia's one of two invaded territories of Abkhazia issued another anti-Georgian decree.
Aleksandre Ankvab has initiated to conduct restoration works in the Bedia, Mokvi and other Georgian Monasteries. The aim behind it is to wash down unique frescos and erase the Georgian trace.
"Occupation regime of Sokhumi tries to erase the Georgian trace in Abkhazia", - Georgian politicians are assessing the statement of Aleksandre Ankvab. They say that Russian occupants want to eliminate the trace of Georgia by destroying the cultural monuments on the Abkhazian territory.
Georgian side appeals to the international organization to halt destroyable process.
