The second round of the so called presidential elections will be held in the occupied region of Georgia South Ossetia. None of the candidates received 50% of votes.
According to the data of the de-facto Central Election Commission, Leonid Tibilov got 42% of the votes, Dimitry Medoev - 25%. Tibilov and Medoev will compete in the second round.
Georgian side objects to the illegal elections held in the breakaway region and do not recognize legitimacy of South Ossetian Elections.
