The Chairman of the Civil Movement "Georgian-Abkhazian and Georgian-Ossetian House" met with the Deputy of the Head of the Delegation of the EU, Minister Counsellor, Mr. Boris Iarochevitch.
At the meeting new project - Direct Dialogue Tbilisi-Sokhumi, Tbilisi-Tskhinvali" was discussed.
"It is unprecedented project in Georgian reality, and the direct dialogue is starting by the media. The project is unique because, it will be published in Abkhazian and Ossetian languages, and it will be implemented by the program - People to People." - noted at the meeting Nestan Kirtadze.
The Delegation of the EU in Georgia expressed full support to the project.
"Moreover, we will be signers of this weekly publication" - noted at the meeting the representative of the EU in Georgia, Boris Iarochevitvh.
At the meeting the Head of Political, Press and Information Section, Mr. Tobias Thyberg was attending.
Let us remind you that at 13 of March the preconference was held by Nestan Kirtadze together with the partner of the project, Editor-in chief of "svabodnai Gruzia", Tato Laskhishvili. Project "Direct Dialogue Tbilisi=Sokhumi, Tbilisi-Tskhinvali" has three stages:
1. Publication of newspaper "Tbilisi-Sokhumi, Tbilisi-Tskhinvali" in Abkhazian and Ossetian languages
2.Creation of joint internet radio and internet portal by Georgian, Abkhazian and Ossetian journalists
3.Establishment of media holding by Georgian, Abkhazian and Ossetian journalists.
In the near future, the presentation of the project will be made in Brussels and in Berlin.
