The North-Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) does not recognize Sunday's so-called presidential elections held in Georgia's occupied region of South Ossetia as legitimate.
In an exclusive interview with "Moambe" news program of First Channel, James Appaturai, Special Representative of NATO Secretary General in the South Caucasus and Central Asia, once again reiterated the alliance's standpoint.
Appaturai claimed that NATO refused to recognize the so-called elections and would continue supporting Georgia's territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders.
