A session of the NATO-Georgia Commission will be held in Brussels, Belgium, today. Georgia's President Mikheil Saakashvili will participate in the sitting.
Georgia's President will meet with Anders Fogh Rasmussen, Secretary General of the North-Atlantic Treaty Organization, and the two will then give a joint press conference.
Giorgi Baramidze, Georgia's State Minister for Integration into European and Euro-Atlantic structures, Tornike Gordadze, Deputy Foreign Minister and Gega Mgaloblishvili, Georgia's Permanent Representative in NATO will also attend the sitting.
Rasmussen made a statement regarding his meeting with President Saakashvili on April 2 as part of the news briefing. He said he was going to talk about reforms carried out in Georgia and also stress upon Georgia's being an important contributor to ISAF operation in Afghanistan.
