A 27 year-old man killed his wife on the grounds of jealousy. Zaira Gulieva, 23, was found strangled and bound to a bed. Zaira Gulieva lived with her husband and two children in the village of Hussein Kench in Dmanisi. Reportedly, the husband often beat his wife; however, his relatives now deny the information.
Relatives say the woman even left their house after her husband went to Baku, Azerbaijan and stayed at a family in Dmanisi.
Mamedov has been arrested. He has already pleaded guilty.
