Catholicos Patriarch of All Georgia will conduct a whole rite on the Makhata Hill, Tbilisi, where the historic construction of the Iveria Virgin Mary Monastery Complex begins today. His holiness will dig up the soil himself today. His Holiness blessed the icon of Saint Andia Prophet, which was painted specially for this day. Saint Angia is considered as the Savior of this construction.
The Monastery will be constructed with the donation of Georgian government, worshippers and Georgian immigrants residing abroad.
