Russia may close the Roki Tunnel (connecting the occupied region of South Ossetia with North Ossetia, Russia) without having agreed the decision prior with the Tskhinvali de-facto government, Ossetian media reports.
According to de-facto Ossetian Emergency Minister Anatoli Bibilov, nobody has discussed the closure of the tunnel regarding 3-year reconstruction works with the Ossetian side.
‘Nobody has informed us about the above-mentioned decision, I don't know who made this resolution', Bibilov said, adding he was going to check if the information was true.
The North Caucasian Federal Roads Federal Service says the Roki tunnel will be closed from 12:00 starting 24 April.
