Four Georgian sailors stuck at Cartagena, one of the most important naval ports in Spain, will return to Georgia after 8-month waiting, at the end of this week
Giorgi Karbelashvili, Deputy Georgian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development is holding negotiations in their return. The Georgian side will cover transportation expenses to Batumi, seaside city of Georgia's Adjara region.
Georgian sailors - Nugzar Kontselidze, Gela Shainidze, Imeda Papidze and Kakha Chkhikvadze worked as crew members of "Clare" ship belonging to Atil Shipping Trading Company. The owner of the ship had been failing to pay salaries to the sailors for the time being.
