The Analytical Department of Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) published results of a research about car accidents this afternoon.
According to the statistical research, the number of cars increases by 10% annually. However the number of car accidents has decreased by 95 % in comparison with 2006.
The least accidents are registered in Georgia's Imereti, Racha and Guria regions. The gravest situation is reported in Tbilisi both based on number of casualties and the injured passengers as a result of accidents.
