Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs published the statistical data about people who have cross the Georgian state border this year. The Ministry said 978,521 visitors arrived in Georgia during the last 4 months.
A total of 301, 243 people arrived in the country in April that shows 61% increase in comparison with the same period of 2011. The majority of visitors are from Iran and Ukraine.
The ministry also reported that the number of Russian tourists increased after Georgian President unilaterally abolished visa regime with Russia.
