Preparations for May 26, Independence Day, are already ongoing in Tbilisi. A grand concert is scheduled to take place at renovated Aghmashenebeli Square. Installation of a stage began early this morning at site.
"Sukhishvilebi," Georgian National Ballet Ensemble and Evgeniy Mikeladze National Symphonic Orchestra will participate in the concert.
Based on a decree of National Council, Georgia's Independence was declared on May 26, 1918.
