The Commission working on verification of the united voters' lists continues carrying out of an unprecedented and large-scale door-to-door project across Georgia in an aim to hold transparent and democratic parliamentary elections in Georgia.
Formation of united data-base based on primary results will begin as of today.
The groups of registrars will be verifying the lists based on door-by-door visits principle till June 10. About 11 100 registrars are verifying the voters' data in Tbilisi and different regions of Georgia to eliminate faults and duplication of votes in the lists.
The Commission members call on the population to actively involve and cooperate with the registrars to avoid inaccuracies in the lists. Locals have to present their ID documents to registrars, who will have special cards with logo of the commission.
The commission will have to ensure verification of the united voters' lists by July 1. A hot-line will be activated at the Commission. Any person can dial the number 262 32 32 to obtain information regarding the process.
