Yet another detention of Georgian citizens occurred in Italy. The Italian Police detained a criminal gang, 33 citizens of Georgia in suspicion of robbery.
They are suspected in robbing the apartments. Police found 5 kilograms of stolen gold at the apartment of the detainees. The cost of the items is more than a million Euros. 150 thousand Euros were found as well.
Italian law enforcers solved the case after conducting special operation in January. Totally 3 special operations have been carried out since December 2011, 150 people were detained, most of them Georgians.
Investigation into the case is underway.
