Amendments to be made into Constitution of Georgia will be discussed during plenary session of the parliament through the first hearing today.
Based on proposed changes, citizens of European Union member states, who were born in Georgia and have lived in Georgia for the last 10 years, will have the right to participate and vote in Georgian elections.
The obligation is that the person, who wants to run in the elections, had lived in Georgia during the last 3 years. The Christian-Democratic Faction proposed making the changes.
