Various rehabilitation works to eliminate the damage inflicted to the regions of Georgia as a result the flood are underway.
The situation is stable in Mtskheta-Mtianeti region. The Dusheti-remiskhevi road, hit by the landslide, has been already opened.
More than 10 villages and 350 families were cut off from rest of the world. The cleaning works on roads are permanently underway.
The representatives of all regarding services are mobilized, and they continue working in non-stop regime.
Local population in Kakheti region is counting the damage inflicted by the floods. The inclement weather infected damage mostly to Gurjaani and Lagodekhi districts. Houses and agricultural lands are flooded. Several homes have been flooded. Water supply system has been damaged as well, so the supply is limited in the region. Water supply will be restored for the end of the day.
Georgia's Parliamentary Speaker Davit Bakradze plans to visit the region and meet with the locals.
The floods damaged the Adjara region as well. The roads are flooded. Five villages of the region are cut off from rest of the world.
