Georgia's participation into the forthcoming NATO Chicago summit will be a step forward on path to integration with the military alliance, Georgian MPs believe.
According to lawmakers, Georgia deserves appraisals for the carried out reforms successfully. They claim that the alliance's member states would reiterate support to Georgia's state sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders, and would call on Russia to fulfill its internationally taken commitments.
Official Tbilisi also believes that decision of the 2008 Bucharest NATO summit would stay in force based on which the NATO would keep the door opened for Georgia.
