Russia is preparing for the Strategic military training Caucasus 2012 planned for September in occupied territories of Georgia and North Caucasus.
Nikolai Makarov, chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces says that Strategic military trainings do not pose threat to any country.
Caucasus 2012 training is planned shortly before the parliamentary elections in Georgia which causes concern from official Tbilisi. Georgian Political experts say that the trainings are planned for demonstration force which aims to put psychological pressure on Georgia before the elections.
