The Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili has paid tribute to Poland`s President Lech Kaczynski, who was killed after his plane crashed in foggy weather in Russia. On BBC Mikheil Saakashvili talked about honours of Kaczynski` as a personality and politician and called his death a great loss.
`What Kaczynski created is that first of all he brought back sense of integrity, sense of dignity to Polish politics. He was somebody, who was very honest personally, who came to politics from this background of fighting for freedom, never gave his principles, never betrayed any of is original ideals. It is a man of a big heart. I have seen lots of politicians, lots of cynicism and lots of so-called `pragmatism` in politics, it was a man opposite to all these. This is indeed a great loss for all of us`, Saakashvili said.
