James Appathurai, NATO Secretary General's Representative for South Caucasus and Central Asia, will arrive in Georgia on June 11.
James Appathurai will arrive in Georgia within the framework of NATO Week planned for 11-16 June.
Appathurai will open an international conference at the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel on June 11. He will also hold a meeting at Free University.
NATO Week will be geographically very wide. It will be held in Tbilisi and several regions, Tengiz Gogotishvili, Head of NATO Information Center in Tbilisi said.
Several ambassadors of NATO member states are also going to arrive in Georgia. They will deliver lectures within the framework of NATO Week.
‘This is a good chance, as after the very important Chicago summit we have a lot to say', Gogotishvili said.
Appathurai is planned to hold bilateral meetings in Tbilisi. The agenda, though, is not yet finalized.
