Hillary Clinton, US Secretary of State is completing her 2-day visit to Georgia. She is expecting at Batumi International Airport.
Clinton will depart to Baku, Azerbaijan, as part of her Caucasus tour and then leave for Turkey where she is scheduled to take part in a ministerial dedicated to issues of fighting against global terrorism.
After official part of her visit to Georgia, a concert was held at Piazza Square in the seaside city of Batumi, Adjara region, in honor of the high-ranking US official and her delegation members last evening.
Tea Dvali, a famous opera singer and the Georgian National Symphonic Orchestra conducted by Nika Rachveli, performed several arias. Sopho Nizharadze, the young talented singer and "Sukhishvilebi" National Ballet Ensemble also appeared on stage.
After the concert, Clinton and Georgia's President Mikheil Saakashvili had a walk along Batumi streets. The US Secretary of State became interested in old and modern architecture of the city.
Saakashvili introduced the guest with various carried out and ongoing projects. President of Georgia talked about Georgia's tourism potential as well as reforms implemented in education and healthcare sectors.
Before the concert, Clinton was hosted in Keda, highly elevated settlement in Adjara region. Clinton arrived at Wine House in Keda together with the Georgian president where she also met with Georgia's First Lady Sandra Roelofs.
Saakashvili toured the guest around the wine cellar. Georgian female pianist Khatia Buniatishvili played on the grand piano for the guests. The sides discussed Georgian-US friendly and partnership relations during their visit to Keda.
