The body of the late president of Poland has been placed in the presidential palace in Warsaw, where the civil funerals will be held. People were silently following the coffin in the corridor of honour. The gates of the Palace were decorated with Poland`s national flags, flowers and thousands of candles. The procession moved as the bells of the church were ringing.
Thousands of people go to the president`s palace to pay respect to the president, who died in a horrible plane crash on Saturday. All 86 passengers of the president`s place died in the crash.
Interim President Bronislaw Komorowski declared the week of mourning in Poland.
The plane of Polish President Lech Kaczyński crashed in a landing attempt at the airport in the Russian Smolensk. The Polish President, alongside a huge group of Polish lawmakers, historians and public figures, ought to attend a ceremony on paying tribute to the victims of the Katyn massacre, near Smolensk, where the first memorial of the victims of the totalitarian aggression is.

Polish authorities announced today that the president`s burial will be held on April 13. Lech Kachinsky will be buried in Gdansk, Poland.

Hundreds of people go to the Youth Palace in Tbilisi, where they express their condolence to the Polish people for the tragic death of their president Lech Kachinsky. People who write their memorial words in the book of condolences, say that Mr. Lachinsky was a very strong supporter of Georgia his death was great pain for Georgian people.
